The Association of Licensing Officers-Nueva Ecija (ALO-NE) conducted its 3rd General Assembly on December 7, 2016 at Rizal, Nueva Ecija. The activity aimed to assess and evaluate the association’s accomplishments for 2016 and set the direction for 2017.

During the activity, Ms. Rosemarie Reyes, President of ALO-NE, reported their active participation in the 1st Regional Convention of Business Permits and Licensing Officers (BPLOs) in Central Luzon held on November 16, 2016 with 29 Nueva Ecija LGU representatives in attendance. Said activity was the first BPLO convention held in the country and organized by the Central Luzon Association of BPLOs (CLAB) where Ms. Reyes is Secretary.

ALO-NE is looking forward to 100% LGU participation in business and investment enabling programs such as the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) and eBPLS by 2017. The group is also set to explore the Mindanao area where they can learn new ideas and techniques for frontline services.

ALO-NE is an organization of Business Permits and Licensing Officers (BPLOs) from the local government units in Nueva Ecija province. The association was formed to establish linkage among BPLOs and address issues and concerns related to business permits processing.
