Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI) is preparing to open Filinvest Malls Mimosa, a new lifestyle and retail destination that aims to transform the commercial landscape of Clark and Central Luzon before the end of the year.

Located within the 201-hectare Filinvest Mimosa+ Leisure City, the mall will serve as the commercial anchor of the integrated township, which also features residential communities, office developments, hotels, and leisure attractions.

Spanning approximately 22,000 square meters across three levels, Filinvest Malls Mimosa will house a curated mix of local and international retail brands, food and beverage outlets, wellness services, and recreational offerings. Designed with a nature-inspired, open-air concept, the development will include landscaped walkways, green areas, a reflecting pool, and public art installations to create a relaxed and engaging environment for visitors.

Complementing the main mall is Filinvest Shoppes Mimosa, an al fresco retail strip dedicated to cafés, fitness studios, lifestyle boutiques, and specialized dining concepts. Together, these developments are expected to increase Filinvest Malls’ gross leasable space and contribute to the lifestyle appeal of the estate.

Speaking on the project’s strategic importance, property executives say the mall will not only enhance retail and leisure experiences but also support tourism and employment growth in the region. Its location near Clark International Airport and major expressways such as NLEX, SCTEX, and TPLEX positions it as a convenient stop for both local residents and visitors.

Filinvest Mimosa+ Leisure City has been developed through a long-term partnership between Filinvest and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), which awarded the company a 50-year lease for the former Mimosa Leisure Estate. The estate has since evolved into a mixed-use township that integrates business, leisure, and residential components.

As Clark continues to grow as a hub for tourism, business, and lifestyle attractions, Filinvest Malls Mimosa is poised to become a key destination that further elevates the region’s appeal and economic prospects. -Rhia C. Laxa, DTI Pampanga
