A new commercial hub has opened its doors in the municipality of Jaen, Nueva Ecija, marking a significant boost to local economic activity following the soft opening of Nepo Mall Jaen on October 17, 2025.
The newly opened mall is expected to contribute to job generation, increased consumer access, and expanded business opportunities in the area. According to the Nepo Mall Jaen Marketing Team, the mall has a total building area of 4,448.66 square meters, excluding parking spaces, and initially employs seven workers, with additional employment opportunities anticipated as operations expand.
Investment figures from the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) indicate a declared capital of ₱33,441,250, reflecting the project’s substantial investment value and the developer’s confidence in Jaen’s growing market.
Local officials and stakeholders expect the mall to stimulate economic activity by improving access to retail goods and services, increasing foot traffic, and supporting nearby establishments. The development also presents opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) seeking expanded market exposure within a modern commercial setting.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)–Nueva Ecija welcomed the investment, citing its alignment with ongoing efforts to promote regional development and enterprise growth. The entry of Nepo Mall Jaen supports the agency’s objective of fostering a competitive and business-friendly environment, particularly in emerging commercial centers across Central Luzon.
As operations ramp up, the mall is expected to house a mix of retail stores, service providers, and food establishments, creating a dynamic commercial ecosystem for residents and visitors alike.
With its strategic location and growing infrastructure, Nepo Mall Jaen further highlights Nueva Ecija’s increasing appeal as a destination for investment, positioning Jaen as a rising contributor to the province’s economic growth. -Honeylen Marie P.
